Brown Happy With Overdue Luck In Grays Win

Last updated : 20 September 2006 By Stray Shots Team
Terry Brown has been speaking to the official Shots website, www.theshots.co.uk following last lights massive three points against Grays Athletic.

In the match report he has been quoted as saying, "We have nicked the victory in a match that either side could have won. I have mixed feelings really because when we got our first goal we dropped another ten yards deeper and gave them the opportunity to attack and that disappointed me.

"However this is an important three points to gain but I want to play better than that".

He continued, "It is the first bit of luck I can recall coming here so that is pleasing. Ryan Williams has done well with the free kicks he has taken for us in the past and full marks to him for the effort. It was a nervous finish and I was not too pleased with giving free headers away at the end but, hey, I think we'll enjoy this victory. Belief and confidence is everything in a side and if we can keep winning at places such as Grays then it can only do us good".
