Despite several outbursts over the season claiming that many of the clubs senior players haven't been performing, Terry Brown is now stating that he will be keeping several of them in his squad for next season.

Speaking to the official site he said, "We will be keeping several of our senior players on board next season and we will be adding to that the best of the youngsters around. The lads that we sign will have to be hungry and we have been watching a lot of football up and down the country recently."

He continued, "The next month is as critical as any other as we look ahead to next season. I want to have a settled squad as early as possible and I want to have the nucleus of the squad in place by the start of pre-season. I don't want to have the scenario where we are going into August with loads of trialists."

The last remark came following the disaster that was last pre-season when the club fielded a whole host of players - many who moved to other clubs, leaving Terry Brown struggling to find a suitable team to take to the field for a large part of the start of the season.
