During the interview, Terry has revealed that the whole club are going to sit down to discuss and investigate the current injury situation.
They will looking at the reasons behind why the club has picked up so many injuries and what can be done in the future to prevent it from happening again.
Current plans involve holding discussions with both Reading and Fulham Football Clubs to see how they treat their players injuries.
The Shots staff will be investigating where other clubs send their injured players, finding out which surgeons they use and how they are treated.
The club currently spend a fortune on private medical treatment and want to make sure they are getting value for their money.
Terry Brown cited Alan Shearer who went to the US for treatment for tendinitis which although costly may well have been cheaper that paying Roscoe D'Sanes wages for a year that he was on contract at the Recreation Ground.
He also stated quite categorically that he would NOT be the manager that bankrupted the club. He said that the club is "financially sound" and yet it would be so easy to try and spend their way out of trouble short term only to find that six months down the line, we were in serious financial trouble as a result.
There would be no 'straight line' improvement but despite the poor start, the objective at the start of the season (promotion) remains the same.
Quite how this will happen is another matter given the poor start we've had - but whatever Saturdays result, there does appear to be a little dim light coming through the end of the tunnel.
