Manager Kevin Dillon has confirmed that Goalkeeping Coach Paul Priddy is leaving the club after 15 years' service. Talking to the clubs official website the boss said, "I spoke to Paul last week and this is purely based on the fact that he has commitments elsewhere. He has his own business and also works with AFC Wimbledon too.
"We need a Coach who is able to come in for two or three days a week and also be able to commit to away matches too. I have to say that in the short time that I worked with Paul he was terrific and I enjoyed working with him. He is a great bloke and a great character who did an excellent job. The proof is in the pudding with Mikhael (Jaimez Ruiz) doing so well.
"He has been a great servant to Aldershot Town and I thank him for the service that he has given to the club. We have found a replacement and I always like to have a plan in place. Alan Knight will be joining the club on Friday and he has extensive experience as a Goalkeeper where he made over 800 appearances for Portsmouth and has coached in the Premier League too."
