18-year old Shots Youth striker Reece Connolly has joined Blue Square Premier club Salisbury City on a moth's loan.
Connolly, who celebrated his 18th birthday last week, has been producing some great performances for the clubs Youth and Reserve sides, including last Tuesday evening when he faced Cove in the Hampshire Senior Cup.
The attack-minded youngster began his career with Crystal Palace and more recently has gone on to score eleven goals in twenty-four youth team appearances for The Shots as well as four goals in fourteen appearances (ten of which were as a sub) for the Reserves.
He has featured in a number of the clubs pre-season games and has made one appearance as a sub this term, away at AFC Bournemouth.
Speaking to the clubs official website, manager Kevin Dillon said: "Reece is a player with a great talent who has impressed me in my time at the club. He certainly has a great future in front of him and this is an ideal opportunity for him to experience at Salisbury City. Conference football is a good level and he will certainly learn from his time there.
"We will track his progress whilst he is there but he is a player that is certainly very much in our plans for the future."
