Frimley born striker Reece Connolly [pictured] has signed a two year contract with the club.
The 18-year-old former Yateley schoolboy has progressed through the youth ranks and impressed in Reserve and Youth team performances and has has also gained vital experience whilst on loan at Conference club Salisbury City recently, where he featured in the FA Trophy semi finals versus Barrow.
Speaking to the clubs official website, boss Kevin Dillon said: "I am delighted that Reece has agreed to sign for the club.
"He has been one of the top scholars this club has had and showed an excellent attitude and desire. He did well at Salisbury and showed his capabilities as we kep a close and keen interest whilst he was there to see how he would perform.
"He has a good future ahead of him and this is a perfect opportunity for him and his development as a footballer. He will need to continue to work hard.
"I am hoping that this will be the first of many players that we can progress through the youth system which can play such an important part."
Also talking to official site Reece added, "I am delighted to sign and it feels right because I have been at the club for some time now and have thoroughly enjoyed my experiences.
"It has been great to be able to play for the youth and reserve teams and then added to that my time at Salisbury City was really important to me.
"Since I have returned from my loan spell I have been involved with the first team which has been positive for me too. Now I have signed my aim is to be involved with the first team squad with the target of breaking into it. It is a good time to be involved with Aldershot Town Football Club and I am looking forward to the future."
