Dagger's In Town

The Aldershot News has reported that with Dagenham & Redbridge the visitors this weekend, Terry Brown knows they won't be in for an easy ride.

He told the paper, “Dagenham are one of the most direct attacking sides, and I've no doubt they'll cause us a problem or two. It does begin to wear you down seeing the same errors being made by the same people.

“We've conceded goals like that all year, and we failed to match them in the most important area, in the 18-yard box.”

Daggers boss John Still is likely to bring Chris Moore back into contention after he was dropped in their 2-0 defeat at home to York on Tuesday night.

Two goals in the last four minutes from Clayton Donaldson and Andy Bishop sealed York's win, but prior to that the Daggers had beaten Grays 4-0 away from home.

The Daggers also have the bragging rights over the Shots from their game earlier in the season. A Tresor Kandol brace earning the points at Victoria Road.

Paul Bruce and Jake Leberl (both back injuries) are out, while striker Paul Benson is out with a groin injury.

Brown has no serious injury concerns with everyone making it through Tuesday night unscathed.

With that, the boss is still confident of getting back to winning ways.

He added: “It hurts to get beat here, and so it should do, our home support is second to none, and so is our away support, and I've no reason why to think we won't get our home record back.”

With thanks to the Aldershot News.
