18-year old Bristol City striker Marlon Jackson has joined The Shots on a months loan.
Shots boss Kevin Dillon informed the press that he was hoping to bring in two players by Thursday after Tuesday's poor performance against Northampton Town even though the match ended in a 2-1 victory for his side.
The youngster has served with the West Country club since being spotted as an eigth-year old and has featured for League Two rivals Hereford United on loan back in August, indeed he made an appearance against The Shots in the two sides 2-2 draw.
Marlon who will turn 19 during his time at Aldershot (on December 6th), is also elligible to play in the FA Cup this weekend at Tranmere Rovers.
Speaking to the clubs official website, www.theshots.co.uk manager Kevin Dillon said: "We have a small squad at the club and we are looking to bring in two players before Thursday's deadline with Marlon being the first arrival.
"It is important to strengthen the squad. I like to have forwards available and have some fire power too. You have to have competition for places all the time to ensure that players don't rest on their laurels."
