Shots manager Kevin Dillon has admited that he does not expect John Halls [pictured] to feature again this season.
The midfielder, who has been missing from the side since December, has been out with groin problems which are now believed will keep him out until the summer.
Speaking to the media, Dillon said: "John has had so many problems with his operations and rehab.
"It may be a case of making sure we get him right for next season. I cannot find a midfielder.
"There is one I really want but he's in another team and we will have to wait until his contract expires at the end of the season."
Meanwhile, Andy Sandell will also be missing from the squad having picked up a hamstring injury and Dillon told the clubs official website www.theshots.co.uk: "Andy has been an important part of the squad since my arrival and he will be missed because his performances have been consistent but this now opens up an opportunity for another player and we hope that they take the chance."
There is better news however, in that striker Marvin Morgan may be set for a comeback having reportedly recovered from his back issues and he may be available to face Bradford City this coming weekend.
