The news was exclusively revealed on the official Wycombe Wanderers website, www.wwfc.com and will free up the funds and hopefully help keep Anderson, Pritchard, Hudson and Newman at the club.
The 22-year old striker has been the subject of interest from a number of clubs during the close season, in particular the Shots, who have frequently expressed their interest the player who has enjoyed two productvie loan spells at the RG.
Although the news is slightly disappointing, both manager and supporters were beginning to grow tired of the long running saga in waiting for the players decision and to his credit Dixon had always maintained that he would like to stay in the League and play for the club he supportes.
He told www.wwfc.com, "It was well documented that other offers were on the table for me but I wanted to stay at this club and give it another year.
"Brownie and Rhino have been very supportive and have told me that if I work as hard as I have been doing then hopefully I'll be given my chance."
Ironicaly, Dixon will be in the Blues squad that face the Shots in tomorrows friendly.
