He said, "I had a great reception when I was thereand scored a few goals. That's exactly what I intend to do this time - to go back and get used to playing football. I've been scoring goals all season for the Reserves so hopefully I can carry that on."
Dixon scored 9 goals in 12 starts for the Shots during his last loan - resulting in a speedy re-call by John Goreman who then surprisingly left him on the bench.
The 22-year old striker continued, "The gaffer thought it would be a good idea for me to get some football. There were a few clubs sniffing around and I picked Aldershot. Hopefully if I go out this time and score goals again I might get a chance."
Dixon will be splitting his training time between both clubs during his loan which will run until the end of the season as John Goreman is keen to keep all his players involved with the club - even when they are out on loan.
