Easy Win For Shots

Terry Brown witnessed a walk in the park yesterday afternoon as his side eased into the Quarter Finals of the Hampshire Senior Cup following an 8-2 victory against Wessex League side Brading Town.

Speaking to the clubs official website www.theshots.co.uk after the match Brown said, "I enjoyed seeing eight goals going in which is always a pleasure. A lot of my players haven't played for three or four weeks and now they have played on Thursday in the reserve team match v QPR and now today and will be better for the experience.

"It was good to see the strikers scoring, Rhys Day netting from a set piece and also Willo getting a hat-trick.

"Obviously it is disappointing to give another two sloppy goals away because whatever the game you don't want to be conceding goals in that manner but overall the object of the game was to get through to the next round and we have done that".
