Speaking in the sites preview he stated, "This is a massive game for us. I know we have had an indifferent season so far and the one saving grace for us prior to getting the league form right is to have a really good cup run.
"Of course it is important to raise the funds required but above all at the moment I want the team to generate some excitement for the fans and some pleasure too. There is a real need for us to produce a performance against Chelmsford but make no mistake it is the result that is the key factor however it is achieved".
The Shots boss has come under increasing pressure from supporters following the clubs current awful form and after last seasons "non-event" questions are beginning to surface about his ability to steer the club towards its objective of Football League status. A defeat against a side two leagues below this evening, will not help his cause.
