FIVE (!) In By The Weekend

Aldershot Manager Gary Waddock has today completed the signings of five players to bolster his first team squad. His defence is strengthened with the signing of 26 year old right back Rob Gier. The former Rushden, Woking and Cambridge United player has featured in many recent pre season games for the shots after starting his career with MK Dons. Former Crystal Palace youngster Anthony Straker aged 18 has also agreed terms he has also featured in many pre season games at left back. Ben Harding also re joins the club after a spell on loan from MK Dons last season the 26 - year old midfielder also had a spell on loan with Grays Athletic last season. Completing the quartet of outfield players is 19 year old defender Jason Milletti who is no stranger to Aldershot fans having featured both in the reserves and first team last season. To strengthen his goalkeeping options Waddock has secured the services of 23 -year old Venezuelan born Mikhael Jaimez-Ruiz who featured for the reserves last season and has also deputised for Nikki Bull during pre season.
