in aid of 'the Partners' disability fund, with funds raised enhancing
sporting opportunities for local children and adults with Special needs.
Entrance fee for the evening is £5 for adults while juniors, under the
age of 15, admission is free. The evening is also during the school
half-term in the hopes that many of our junior supporters will be able to
attend.
The club have also teamed up with Ambassador Coaches who are kindly
running a coach to and from the football club - departing at 6pm at a fee
of £10, which also includes admission to the race meeting.
The evening will be attended by the Aldershot Town FC players,
management and staff, with hopefully a few ex-shots also in attendance. It is
also hoped that other footballing and sporting personalities will be
present on the evening including Premiership players from our local
neighbours Reading FC!
There will be a raffle and auction on the evening, which has been
supported by many football clubs by the donation of signed items. In
addition yourself or your company / business could support the evening by
either:
a) sponsoring a race or
b) sponsoring a dog
The cost of sponsoring a race is £250.00 with programme and all race
literature entitling the race to your liking eg The Gerry Lyons Sprint
or The Southern Tyres Stayers.
In addition the race sponsor, if present on the evening, will present
the winning trainer / owner with their trophy and received a memento of
the evening themselves.
The cost of sponsoring a dog is £20. Every individual dog sponsor will
be named in the programme for eg:-
No 1 Swift Mover sponsored by Ryan Williams
At the end of each race the winning dog sponsor will also be
photographed on the winning line where he / she will collect a 'winning sponsors
prize'.
If sponsoring a dog, along with friends or work colleague. We will
endeavour (if wished) to enter you all in the same race, so one of you is
hopefully the winning sponsor.
