Good News At Last

Last updated : 19 January 2006 By Stray Shots Team
Nick Crittenden's future at the Rec looked all the more secure after interested Exeter City boss Alex Inglethorpe took heed of Brown's “hands-off” warning last week and signed Wayne Carlisle from Leyton Orient, who themselves have made no fresh offer for Tim Sills as expected this week.

The news can only be good for Shots supporters who were fearing that two key players would be off at the end of January, leaving the club in an even more unstable state.

It is still possible that offers may come in - and Terry Brown will have to deal with the situation as it changes. The main worry will soon transfer to trying to transform the rest of this season in to a success in a bid to make the club look an exciting prospect for future signings as well as trying to keep his current stars.
