Hamelton had been sidelined since just before Christmas having been diagnosed as having a blood clot in his leg. This meant that he was forced to rest and undergo a daily leg massage in a bid to rid himself of the injury without even being able to train.
Looking ahead to the remainder of the season Hamilton is confident that the squad can push themselves up the table and re-capture the form that everyone connected to the club have come to expect adding, "We have played most of the teams this season and I don't think that there is a better team than Aldershot on our day. It is up to us to get that consistency to climb the table. From my own point of view I want to be playing a part in that progress too".
