Aldershot Town produced a professional performance this afternoon to ensure it was them who reached the FA Cup First Round for the seventh time in eight years.
On loan striker Joel Grant scored twice and set up a Louie Soares header in the first half, with defender Darren Barnard wrapping the score up with a second half strike to ease Terry Browns men in to the draw for the next round.
The match also had the added extra thrill of of two Haverhill penalties - both of which were saved by Shots hero Nikki Bull.
Haverhill, who have already scored seven penalties in the fifteen games they've played so far this season, ended their lucky run as they saw the Shots keeper make a double save for their first effort followed just seconds later with another save to keep a clean sheet.
