Aldershot Town have parted company with midfielder Bobby Hopkinson.
The 19-year-old joined the club on a non-contract basis after impressing former manager Gary Waddock during the pre-season, however the former Plymouth Argyle schoolboy has only featured in two first team matches since arriving.
He made his debut as a second half substitute in the Football League Trophy match at Hereford United in October and his Football League debut at home to Morecambe the following Saturday.
Manager Kevin Dillon said, "Bobby is a smashing lad, who has been a good worker in training. He had a recent spell at Farnborough, which didn't work out for him. He is due to move back to Devon and I am sure that he will find regular first team football.
"I would like to thank Bobby for his commitment and wish him every success for the future."
