Hudson Becomes A Bee

Compensation is yet to be agreed for the 23 year-old, who struggled to hold down a regular place in Kevin Dillon’s first team last season after enjoying two excellent years under Gary Waddock.

In 38 games last season, Hudson scored just five goals. His career statistics, however, remain impressive: 45 goals in 180 appearances helped forge a reputation as one of the best natural finishers at the Club, and, in 2007-9, the former Celtic and Ipswich trainee won the Blue Square Premier Young Player of the Season award.

Hudson becomes the third young player in a week to leave The EBB Stadium, after Scott Donnelly and Dave Winfield, as other League clubs start to notice the quality of the squad which reached the League Two Play-Offs.
