Keflavic manager Kristjan Gudmundsson and club captain and star player Gudmundur Steinarsson have spoken to the Icelandic press saying that they have not heard anything from Aldershot Town regarding the interest in signing players from the club.

Terry Brown had told the official Shots website, www.theshots.co.uk that their would be representatives from the club at the Dungannon vs Keflavic match last weekend but the Aldershot News recently reported that the trip was fairly disappointing.

Gudmundsson told the press, "I know there were a few scouts watching the game but that is quite normal during Intertoto matches, especially in Britain."

Steinarsson was also unaware of the interest adding, "I know clubs have been keeping an eye on us, mainly because we are a young side."

Barnet manager Paul Fairclough was originally going to attend the match in person, however he cancelled his trip when he learnt that many of Keflavic's players were going to be rested for the game.
