The assistant boss at Aldershot Town expressed disbelief at the number of agents falsely claiming they were representing a player in what he described as "one of the strangest close-seasons I've ever known".
Along with Shots manager Gary Waddock, Kuhl's mobile phone has not stopped ringing — with desperate agents among those clamouring to get involved wherever they can.
"They are all scrambling around claiming they are representing players when actually they're not," he said.
"Sometimes we're talking about three or four people, some of them family members, claiming to represent someone and you end up having to ring the player to find out just who it is you're supposed to be dealing with.
"It's incredible and I've never known a situation like that."
