Lewis Given Kick Up The Backside

Lewis Chalmers is hoping that by training hard he will stand a better chance of being given another chance in manager Gary Waddock's first team.

He told the station, "Its been frustrating and I'm disappointed not to be playing after featuring in so many games last year.

"I've not been training hard enough. It has given me a kick up the backside."

He added, "With the other lads doing so well it has made it difficult for the gaffer to take one out and put another in.

"I was unlucky to be pulled out after the Luton game but I've no qualms with that.

"I'm sure my time will come again. I'll be involved sooner rather than later."
