He came on trial under Terry Brown, but after being rejected a work permit some seven years ago (reportedly), Guy "always scores against Aldershot" Madjo has joined the club for an un-disclosed five figure fee from Stevenage.
The deal which also has a sell-on fee attached sees the 27-year-old, who hails from Cameroon, join the club having scored a hat-trick against them while on loan with Port Vale earlier in the season.
Indeed during his career he has scored on eight occasions versus the Shots in six appearances also netting for Forest Green Rovers and Stafford Rangers. In addition to playing club football in China and Albania Guy has also featured for Bristol City and Shrewsbury Town in the Football League.
Following the signing Shots manager Dean Holdsworth told the clubs official website: “Talking to Guy he is delighted to be given this chance. I have explained to him what the fans want and what we want. He will fit in very well. He is a strong lad who is well focussed too.
"He has a genuine appetite to score goals. We know he can score goals and that is what we need."
Guy added: "I hope I score more goals now I am at the club but this time for Aldershot. Now I am here I want to score goals and to win matches and I am grateful to the manager for giving me the opportunity. I am here for business. We have some good games coming up starting with Saturday's match versus Accrington Stanley and I hope that we can start moving forwards."
