McDonald Issues Warning To Brown

Former Shots player Ian McDonald has warned Shots boss Terry Brown to steer clear of any planned January transfer bids for two of his key players.

It is believed that Shots boss Terry Brown is interested in signing midfielder Matt Pattison as well as striker Michael Charles and Brown was in the crowd at the Maidenhead vs Boro FA Trophy match last week.

Macca told the Aldershot News, "Aldershot haven't got the money to buy either of them — they simply can't afford them. I haven't got a problem with Terry looking at my players. If he's watching them then it means they're playing well, but the bottom line is they're not for sale.

“Terry hasn't got the money. Both players are contracted to us and it would take a big cheque for us to even think about letting them go. They are irreplaceable to us.”
