No Excuses At Chelmsford

Terry Brown takes his side to darkest Essex this Saturday looking to make it in to the draw for the Second Round of the FA Cup as well as the perhaps the more important aspect of injecting some much needed funding in to Recreation Ground coffers at this crucial stage of the clubs history.

Speaking to the clubs official website, www.theshots.co.uk Brown said, "We are not going in blind to this match. My players knew what to expect in the last round at Haverhill Rovers and they are aware of what they will be up against at Chelmsford. There are no excuses. The ground at Chelmsford is tricky with a running track around it which always makes the atmosphere totally different but it is all about the quality of both sets of players and how they perform on the day.

"The FA Cup throws up giant killers every single round and we hope to be part of that at a later date and not this early".
