Aldershot Town manager Dean Holdsworth has confirmed that 17-year-old midfielder Harry Cooksley has signed a one-year agreement with the club.

Having progressed through Reading's youth system Cooksley has demonstrated a great ability and speaking to the clubs official website, Holdsworth said:  "Harry is a bright individual and talented footballer.

"I had no hesitation is signing him for the season and am really looking forward to working with him. This is an excellent opportunity for Harry and we will be able to develop and progress his career with Aldershot Town."

Meanwhile the Shots chief also confirmed that goalkeeper Jordan Clement has left the club adding:  "Jordan is at a stage in his career where regular first team football will benefit him. It is what he needs.
 
"I would like to thank him for his time at Aldershot Town and sincerely wish him the very best for the future".
