Dean Smith Staying For Longer
Shots supporters disappointed by Saturdays awful performance against Northwich Victoria will have something to smile about as the club announced that youngsters Dean Smith and Louie Soares have both agreed to sign contract extentions which will keep them at the Recreation Ground for another season.

Speaking to the official club website, www.theshots.co.uk manager Terry Brown said, "I am so pleased that both players have decided to commit themselves on a longer term. They have been real bonuses to us since they originally signed. They didn't have their best games on Saturday but they are fantastically talented youngsters.

"We sat down at the start of the season with both players and said that there is a contract on the table for a season but if you are doing very well then we will review it at Christmas. Well, I have seen enough already to tell me that I want them on board for the longer period and I am chuffed to bits with it. This is a big year for us and both Louie and Dean possess the quality we are going to need if we are to be challenging for honours".
