Dorset Echo reporter Paul Baker has published a story stating that Wayne Purser has signed for Weymouth.

The 25 year old striker - who has gained the interest of Shots manager Terry Brown - put pen to paper for the Conference South club today in a two year deal.

He has joined big spending Weymouth for an undisclosed fee and becomes the clubs fourth out and out striker along side former Shot Chukki Eribenne, Daniel Webb and Kirk Jackson.

Terry Brown will now have to focus his sights on another target to join front man Tim Sills - unless Roscoe D'Sane can prove his fitness and earn himself another contract at the Recreation Ground - which many fans would love to see happen.
