Alex McCarthy: Back-up for MJR?

The official Reading FC website has confirmed that Academy player Alex McCarthy, has joined Aldershot Town on a month long loan deal.

The youngster has been involved with the England U19 set up and has spent time at Cambridge United, Woking and Team Bath - making very few appearances.
