Both Braintree and Workington currently hold mid-table positions in the Blue Square South/North divisons and are set to replay their tie on Tuesday evening following Saturday's original fixture finishing in a one-all draw.
The replay may be in doubt however with the current poor weather and Workington Club Secretary Steve Durham has already advised Braintree officials that it rained all day on Sunday in Workington and with more of the same forecast for Monday and Tuesday Workington have provisionally arranged a pitch inspection on Monday evening with a view to reaching an early decision.
If this replay was subject to a postponement, the new date for the replay would then be Tuesday, 22 January.
