Aldershot Town have announced that they are honoured to welcome Polish side Warta Poznan to the EBB Stadium this coming Friday evening [20th July] for their opening home pre season friendly, kick off 7.45pm.
Chairman Kris Machala, himself Polish, has been the driving force behind the fixture and will be a proud man as the two teams walk out side by side.

Genuinely excited by the impending visit of the former Polish champions he told the clubs official website:  "It is the first international match for Aldershot Town and I am very happy about that.
"Warta are a club with a strong tradition.  It is a very well known club in Poland.  They are ambitious and play in the national stadium in Poznan which was recently used in Euro 2012.
"They want to become one of the biggest clubs in Poland so it will be an interesting time to see what level they represent against us.
"I hope that we get a good crowd on Friday evening and have a good international feel.  The message is to spread the word and get as many supporters as possible to attend the match."
Admission prices for the match will be £10 adults and £5 concessions.
