Shots League Two Fixtures Released

Last updated : 17 June 2009 By Stray Shots Team
With just a few short weeks since the end of the 2008/09 season under our belts, it's already time to start referring to the 2009/10 one as "this season" with todays release of the League fixture list.

It's the time that everyone looks forwards to, not least because it gives us something new to moan about!

The Shots open their second League Two campaign with a home fixture against Darlington and their first away trip in the League is at Rochdale followed by a local 'derby' against AFC Bournemouth on yet another Tuesday evening.

Hereford United visit the EBB Stadium on Saturday 5th September whilst Gary Waddock's men will face Cheltenham Town for the two clubs first ever competitive match on Saturday 26th September.

Bradford City will be travelling south on Saturday 19th December whilst the Christmas period will see Barnet visit the EBB Stadium on Boxing Day and The Shots travel to Hereford two days later.

The Easter fixture programme has produced an unusual pairing of a trip to Macclesfield which is followed by a home match against Rotherham United.

The season concludes with an away fixture against Morecambe, on Saturday 8th May.

As always at this early stage - all fixtures are subject to change and we of course, are unable to publish the list, so click on the link below to visit the clubs official website and see it in full:
