Shots Looking To Down Eagles

Like their hosts, Peter Taylor's side have won one (2-0 vs Chelmsford) and drawn one (2-2 vs Bromley) of their first two games and will be looking at the match as a bid to gain some much needed match fitness ahead of their respective league campaigns as both clubs harbour outside chances of gaining promotion.

With both clubs having plumped for a blend of youth and experience the fixture should provide ample opportunity for both sides young stars to show their respective managers what they can do and with the Eagles currently running at 11/2 to win promotion, the signs are in place for an exciting match.

Eagles boss Peter Taylor is expected to bring an almost fully fit squad for the visit to North Hampshire and will give all players 45-minutes of action, however official Palace website has reported that both Republic of Ireland striker Clinton Morrison and the Northern Ireland left sided utility man Jeff Hughes, are both out with minor knocks.

Shots manager Gary Waddock remains confident that there is no Recreation Ground crisis surrounding the crucial left-back position and apart from Ryan Scott, is expected to have a full squad available to chose from, for the match.
