Shots manager Terry Brown has secured the services of 20-year old Gary Elphick from Brighton & Hove Albion.

Elphick featured for the club in a pre-season friendly at Lewes and was obviously a transfer target for Terry Brown who told the official Shots website, "I have seen GAry play for Brighton Reserves this season and he is just the kind of player that I need at the moment. He has young legs and will give us strength at the back. He is a good header of the ball and attacks well too. He is an old kind of centre half with a no nonsense attitude."

Seagulls Director of Football, Martin Hinshelwood said, "We feel that it is a good move for Gary at this stage of the season with not too many reserve team games on the horizon. This is a good opportunity for him to go and play at a good standard for a good football club. Gary is a player who needs to play competitive football and this move will benefit all parties."
