Terry Browns long struggle to sign someone to partner Tim Sills is hopefully over as the club have announced that both Leroy Griffiths and Kirk Hudson have joined the club.

29-year old Griffiths is a former Grays Athletic player and played in their Conference South winning side scoring 26 goals however an alleged dispute involving a team mate and a wrangle over a contract extension led to his eventual release from the club. He later signed for Fisher Athletic but has joined the Shots on a long term loan.

19-year old Kirk Hudson has joined the club on non-contract terms having been on trial at the club over the last few weeks. He is a former England Schoolboy International with Celtic, Ipswich and Bournemouth already on his CV and is expected to develop in to a real talent in the future, but is believed to need more first team experience to develop.

Hudson scored both of the Shots goals in the recent defeat against Basingstoke in the Hampshire Senior Cup.

Both are expected to go in to the squad for tomorrows match against Halifax Town - with Griffiths expected to start up front with Sills.
