Speaking to the website, manager Gary Waddock confirmed that both players have committed themselves to deals which will last until the end of the season saying, "This is good news for the club. Joel has quality and has done extremely well since he has been here and I am pleased that he will be here for the longer term this season".
Speaking about 6' 5" defender Koo-Boothe he continued, "He is a big man who is strong, powerful and quick.
"He has had a period of time where he has been injured and we are trying to get him back up to 100%. If we can get him back to that level then we will have a hell of a player on our hands.
"He also adds a bit of competition at the back too so I am very pleased for him signing here. He is familiar with the players which is a great help also."
