Aldershot Town have snapped up 25-year old Woking striker, Marvin Morgan.

The former Cards target man made 42 appearances for our Surrey neighbours last season, netting 10 goals and won the "Supporters Player of the Season" award.

Morgan joined Woking from Yeading and made his debut at the start of last season. He was top scorer for Yeading in 2006/07 netting 25 goals for the Middlesex side.

Marvin started his career at Wealdstone where he progressed through the youth ranks.

Speaking on the signing, Shots boss Gary Waddock said, "Marvin is a player that we know well. He is just a real handful to play against and he will give us a different dimension to our attacking play.

"You only have to ask our centre halves who played against Marvin last season how difficult he was to mark in the four games that we played against Woking.

"He is quick, strong and for a big man he has got good feet too. He can find the back of the net to and we have added another good player to our squad. In addition Marvin gives us a bit of height too.

"All of our strikers did well last season but we now have good competition in the squad and that is what I am looking for. We are delighted that Marvin is now an Aldershot Town player".
