Following the crucial 2-0 victory at the Kit Kat Crescent, the Shots are expected to field a weakened side as all efforts are set to be concentrated on the league campaign.
The Grecians face much the same dilemma as they see themselves in with an excellent chance of securing a play-off place as well as progressing in the FA Trophy – both of which could bring in some much needed revenue to add to the money gained from their excellent FA Cup run which saw them narrowly defeated by Manchester United.
The Grecians current form looks like this:
Sat 15 Jan | A | Trophy | D 2-2 | 1,380
Wed 19 Jan | H | F.A. Cup | L 0-2 | 9,033
Sat 22 Jan | A | League | L 0-1 | 3,489
Tue 25 Jan | H | Trophy | W 2-0 | 2,766
Sat 29 Jan | H | League | W 2-0 | 3,860
Fri 04 Feb | A | League | P-P | ||||
Sat 05 Feb | A | Trophy | W 3-0 | 1,219 |
Both clubs will more than likely be fielding a second string team of youth a fringe players and as such, the entrance prices have been reduced (see the “latest ticket news” section for more details.)
Due to the nature that this cup is worked out, the victors opponents have already been worked out. The Fourth Round will see the winners play away against Forest Green Rovers and then away at the winners of the Woking vs Havant & Waterlooville in Round Five.
