Gary Waddock: Able to smile at last.

Gary Waddock has spoken to the clubs official website after this weekends victory over Accrington Stanley saying, "We've waited a long time for this result and have worked extremely hard this week on the training ground. The players were extremely focussed and deserve a great deal of credit.

"Players were brought into the squad and had opportunities to keep that shirt. Places are up for grabs. The players today have got the result but what we will be looking for is consistency. Without a shadow of a doubt it is about performing at a level on a regular basis. They raised the bar last season with the performances and standard of play. We know we can compete at this level but it is about being consistent too.

"This has been a good season for us because by the end of the season it will have been a fantastic learning curve for us."
