The Woking News have reported that the deal taking Tim Sills from Aldershot to Oxford is valued at £100k - not the £50k quoted in other media outlets.

Talking to Cards manager Glenn Cockerill, who missed out on the signing of Jonny Dixon, he told the reporter, "We couldn't afford the fee Wycombe were asking."

The article continued to report on various Woking strikers and offers received saying, "With Aldershot striker Tim Sills moving to Oxford United for a reported £100,000 Cockerill defends Woking's decision to turn down an offer for Justin Richards, believed to be around £12,000, from Burton Albion. “It was an embarrassing offer and I think that (Sills' move) has proved Justin is worth more than what they offered,” Cockerill added."

It is believed that the Farnham Herald carried a similar article quoting the same figure of £50k upfront with a further £50k after an unspecified number of appearences. In this article, Terry Brown is quoted as "being unable confirm or deny the amount stated".
