Caceras, 22, completed Terry Brown's hat-trick of signings last week after joining until the end of the season from Yeovil Town.
Now, the Argentinan who moved from his Australian home to embark on a career in England, has pledged to wow the fans with a touch of continental magic to hoist the Shots into Coca-Coca League contention.
Speaking to Jon Couch, Sports Editor at the Aldershot News, he said, “I was a bit frustrated at Yeovil. I wasn't playing enough games but hopefully now I can prove to a lot of people that I can still play. The aim here is to get games under my belt and help Aldershot get into the Play-Offs.
“At the moment it's too hard to say whether I'm going to be here long-term so I'm just going to take it year by year.”
Caceras signed his first professional contract at Southampton before going back to Australia to play in two championship-winning sides, including Perth Glory.
A return to England just over a year ago saw him enjoy brief stints at Hull and Yeovil before his release from Huish Park last week set up the move to the Rec.
Caceras sees himself as an out-and-out striker but enjoyed a wide role on Saturday, playing a big part in most of Aldershot's best moves — including the cross which led to Jake Robinson's debut goal.
Another new member of Brown's clan on Saturday was midfield man David Lee.
The 24-year-old ex-Oldham and Southend man joined the Shots from Thurrock just hours before Caceras put pen-to-paper — this, having impressed for the reserves against Southend the previous night.
