Another make-shift Aldershot Town side turned out against the Swans on Tuesday evening, as manager Andy Scott continued with his squad building exercise.
Following Saturday afternoons 2-1 defeat against Eastleigh, the boss told the local media: "It's just nice to be able to play football rather than everything else that has gone on.
"Clearly we are behind other sides in terms of preparation but the fact that the players we do have got some time out on the pitch and not picking up injuries is the main thing.
"It's better to look at these trialists and youth team players against a decent team like Eastleigh, who will be well up there in their league next season.
"We've had about 40-50 trialists through the door these last few weeks but that's what we've had to do. We've only got six or seven players on contract and a couple of those are youth team lads who have come through but haven't played first-team football.
"We haven't got a team, simple as that. But we are trying to get a team and look at as many players as we can. We need some men.
"With the turnover of players and lack of continuity, it's difficult, but we are working as hard as we can to get as much work into the players as possible and hopefully we'll get there."
