Straker Misses Vics Clash

Shots defender Anthony Straker will be forced to sit out this Saturday's Blue Square Premier match against bottom side Northwich Victoria after being sent off during Tuesday eveningsvictory against Forest Green Rovers.

The former Crystal Palace teenager was sent off by referee Phil Gibbs after preventing Les Afful's run in on goal in the 42nd minute, having deemed the tackle a professional foul.

If fit, Straker would be available for the Shots next away fixture against Oxford United.
