Strikers Future Looks Uncertain

Official club website, www.theshots.co.uk today confirmed that Roscoe D'Sane has suffered another set back in his bid to regain fitness from his tendonitis injury.

Manager Terry Brown told the site, "It doesn't look too good for Roscoe at the moment, there has been a problem with his rehab and the injury has flared up again."

Although the news is disappointing Brown continued, "It is certainly not a terminal problem in the fact that he can't play again but it has just reacted." he did however, confirm that the pacy striker is unlikely to wear a Shots shirt again in the near future. He continued, "It is disappointing for everybody concerned. Roscoe's career has been halted and as far as the club is concerned it is a massive blow. He was our leading goal scorer before he picked his injury up and to lose such a talented striker not just this year but last has left a severe dent to our striking situation".

The news has sparked debate on www.shotsweb.co.uk as to whether the club should now be looking beyond Roscoe's return for the good of the club and move into the January transfer window with a serious bid to capture a goal scorer to fill Roscoe's place in the team.

Talking about Roscoe's future Brown added, "I would love Roscoe to wear the red and blue again but it is far too early to speculate. It will be a long process and Roscoe needs to evaluate his own future as it will be a gradual process for him".
