Tel Building For The Future

Shots manager Terry Brown has been speaking to the official club website, www.theshots.co.uk ahead of tomorrows Conference clash against York City, saying that the club have got a lot of work to do following their poor away form but he is hopeful of getting a result.

He told the site, "The statistics do not lie. The home form is good enough to place us in a play off spot but the away form would put us in a relegation position. We haven't scored enough goals but the fact is that we concede too many goals and until we rectify that it will always been a problem. We work and work to try and improve it but still the goals are leaked".

He continued by talking about the rest of the season and has finally changed tack with his ever-lasting "We can't afford to lose again" mentality by saying, "We are realistic as a club to know that whilst we have a mathematical chance to reach the play offs we will keep fighting our way to try to do that and climb up the league.

"However there is also a contingency plan too because a club of this size has to have one. We are looking ahead extensively to plan for the years ahead and not just the weeks and we will be hoping to talk more about this shortly".
