Terry Making Player Plans

Injuries and cup-tied players is the least of Terry Brown's worries this week as he has already found a replacement more than capable of producing the goods in youngster Ryan Scott.

If Steve Watson does remain out a while longer, Brown has few complaints about his replacements in the centre as local youngster Ryan Scott put pen to paper on a new deal after holding his place in the first team.

He told the paper, “I'm really chuffed with Ryan's progress, he's come on leaps and bounds in the last three months and stepped up to the challenge and it means he won't necessarily have to make way when Watson comes back.”

The contract talks with Scott weren't the only thing keeping Brown busy this week as he has also begun talks with keeper Nikki Bull and striker Tim Sills in an early bid to secure the services of the clubs key players ahead of the transfer window opening in January.

The talks could give an indication to Brown as to who he will have available over the coming year - and who he will need to try and cash in on as several players contracts are believed to be up at the end of the season.
