Their four consecutive defeats led to the sacking of boss Nick Henry earlier this week, with player and assistant coach Neil Redfearn taking over matters for this weekend.
The defeats include a 5-0 hammering at league leaders Grays Athletic last week but Brown is all too aware that he has never beaten the side at home.
Speaking about the match, Shots manager Terry Brown said, “I never get to the seaside in Scarborough as I seem to just drive in, get beat, then drive home! They are having a tough time of it at the moment, and unfortunately they have just sacked their manager.
“We're expecting a tough game, and I think we will be playing a different Scarborough to the one that other sides have played this season.”
Last season saw the Shots throw away a 2-0 lead as Chris Senior netted twice in two minutes to earn a draw. The Shots fared better at home, holding onto the 2-0 lead in the final game of the season thus ensuring their Play-Off place.
The boss, however, is without Tim Sills and Matt Somner who are suspended after both picking up their fifth bookings on Saturday.
Gary Holloway is back to full fitness after suffering from flu at Bromley, while John Brough could also return after coming through 90 minutes for the reserves on Wednesday.
