Tiverton Town midfielder, Chris Holloway has told www.thisisexeter.com that he is considering an offer to join the Recreation Ground.
Holloway has been offered a deal to keep him at Ladymead for the 2006/07 season but will now have to weigh up if he values of a return to full time football - two divisions above his current club, against the good money he is surely on playing part-time and having a day job.
Holloway would be able to move to Aldershot on a free transfer as his Tiverton contract expired at the end of the last season but his current boss does't feel that the Shots offer would be tempting enough to persuade the Welshman to give up his job and return to the professional ranks saying, "I don't feel the offer is from a club big enough to make him want to go back to full-time football," said Rogers.
"If it was an offer from a football League club then he might give it a go, but I think he is quite settled in his business and in his life. But he is going to mull it over and then I expect to speak to him in the middle of the week."
Holloway dropped into the semi-professional game following his release by Rotherham in 2002.
