Speaking to the site Newman said, "I enjoyed last season although it was a disappointment in the league. We have the base of the playing squad here for next season and hopefully there will be good times ahead.
"I am delighted to be part of the club again next year. I ended last season with a sore knee for the last four or five weeks but managed to get through it. It won't be long until the new season comes around.
"I have been impressed by the standard of the Conference and what we need to be up with the top teams is consistency. There are some talented youngsters at the club and I believe that we have a good mix in the squad.
"To receive the Player's Player of the Year Trophy was a great honour. It surprised me to be honest because I didn't perform as well as I would have liked at certain times but it is a great accolade. I am looking forward to fulfilling the potential that we have at Aldershot Town next season".
Ryan Williams continued by saying, "It is nice to be wanted at the club. I have really taken to Aldershot Town. I love it here and the reason that I do is because everybody has made me feel so welcome from the supporters right the way through the club.
"I can't thank them enough and that is one of the main reasons why I am going to stay. The supporters are fantastic".
